The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a global score of 68.6, which is a bit better than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2's score of 62.6. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is a newer tablet device, and it's also somewhat thinner and lighter than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2. Both tablets in this comparison review use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has a newer 4.2.2 version while Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has Android 4.0.

Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a bit faster CPU than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a better graphics processor working at 1064 megahertz and a higher amount of RAM. Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, because although it has a quite worse pixels density, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 also counts with a little bit bigger screen.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch and Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 both feature incredibly similar cameras, they have a same resolution back facing camera, the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1280x720 video resolution. Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch counts with a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch also has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has just a little better battery life than Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, because it has a 12% greater battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch costs a bit more than the Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
