Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 68.4, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018)'s 68.3 global score. Despite of the fact that Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is notably older than the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), it's body is a little lighter and thinner. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has the previous 4.4.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has Android 8.1 Oreo version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has an extra GPU. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). Both have a display with the same size, the same resolution of 800 x 1280 and the same display pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) features a bit longer battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.

Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a 5 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a lot higher 1920x1080 video resolution.

In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Galaxy Note 8.0 is also cheap compared to the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), making it an easy decision.
