Comparison review
Apple iPad Air has a general score of 74.1, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's global score of 74. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, Apple iPad Air's construction is heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4. Apple iPad Air counts with iOS 8.x operating system, and Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 works with Android 4.4.2 operating system.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a little bit better looking display than iPad Air, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and more pixels per inch of screen. The Apple iPad Air's processing unit is very similar to Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4's processor, because although the Apple iPad Air has an inferior number of cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor and a faster 600 MHz graphics processor.
The Apple iPad Air takes clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has a lot less mega-pixels resolution back camera and a worse 1920x1080 video definition. The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features just a bit more storage capacity for games and applications than iPad Air, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
Apple iPad Air has a way better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has an 8820mAh battery capacity against 4800mAh.
In addition to being the best tablet in this comparison, the iPad Air is also a lot cheaper.
