Comparison review
The Acer Predator 8 has a score of 57.7, which is slightly better than the Acer Iconia One 8's 53.7 score. Acer Predator 8's design is a little thinner but just a little heavier than the Acer Iconia One 8, and they were released with only 2 months difference. Both of these devices come with the same Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
Acer Predator 8 features a little faster CPU than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Acer Predator 8 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Acer Predator 8 counts with a sharper screen than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Acer Predator 8 also has a lot better resolution of 1200 x 1920 and more pixels per inch in the screen.
Acer Predator 8 features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 128 GB, the Acer Predator 8 also has 16 GB more internal storage. Acer Predator 8's camera is just as good as the Acer Iconia One 8 one, both of them have a camera in the back with a 5 megapixels resolution.
The Acer Iconia One 8 features just a little bit longer battery duration than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 4 percent more battery size.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia One 8. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Acer Predator 8, else you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia One 8, resigning some features and specs.
