Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is way better than the Acer Iconia One 8's 53.7 global score. Although the Microsoft Surface 3 and Acer Iconia One 8 were released only a couple of months apart, Microsoft Surface 3's design is extremely heavier but also a bit thinner than Acer Iconia One 8.
The Microsoft Surface 3 features just a bit better performance than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have 4 cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has 3 GB more RAM. Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit sharper screen than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a way larger screen, a much higher 1920 x 1280 resolution and a little greater quantity of pixels per inch of screen.
The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a little bit better camera than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a back camera with way more MP. Microsoft Surface 3 has a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Acer Iconia One 8 has a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia One 8. If you want to save some money, you can get Acer Iconia One 8, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
