Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro is much better than Acer Iconia One 8, having a general score of 63.2 against 53.7. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro OS, and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. Even being the best tablet device in our current comparison, the Microsoft Surface Pro construction is a lot older, heavier and a lot thicker than the Acer Iconia One 8.
The Microsoft Surface Pro has a bit better CPU than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has an inferior number of cores , it also counts with 3 GB more RAM and a graphics processor. Microsoft Surface Pro has a more vivid display than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a really larger screen, a bit better pixels density and a lot higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.
The Acer Iconia One 8 shoots better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much more megapixels back camera. Microsoft Surface Pro features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Acer Iconia One 8 has a really longer battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia One 8. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia One 8, letting go some specs and features.
