The Microsoft Surface Pro 7 body is much newer and thinner, but extremely heavier than Acer Iconia One 8. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 counts with Windows 10 OS, and Acer Iconia One 8 works with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
