Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has an overall score of 66.3, which is much better than the Acer Iconia One 8's global score of 53.7. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a incredibly older and heavier tablet than the Acer Iconia One 8, but Samsung managed to build it just a little bit thinner anyway. Both of these devices include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has the previous 4.4 version while Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a bit sharper screen than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a just a bit worse pixels number in each display inch, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also counts with a larger display. Galaxy Note 10.1 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a SD extension slot that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Note 10.1 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Acer Iconia One 8 captures much better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a same resolution camera in the back.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia One 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Acer Iconia One 8, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
