Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a bit better than Acer Iconia One 8, having a score of 58.1 against 53.7. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 10.1 has an older 4.0.4 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a way older and way heavier tablet than Acer Iconia One 8, but Samsung was able to build it just a bit thinner anyway.
The Acer Iconia One 8 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a higher number of faster cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit more vivid display than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a bit worse screen pixels density, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a larger display.
The Acer Iconia One 8 counts with more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a way better battery life than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a 48 percent more battery size.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a little bit better camera than Acer Iconia One 8, although it has a camera in the back with a much lower resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia One 8. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Acer Iconia One 8, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
