Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has an overall score of 65, which is a lot better than Acer Iconia One 8's 53.7 general score. These tablets use Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the older 4.1 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is an a lot older, a bit thicker and incredibly heavier portable tablet than the Acer Iconia One 8.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a little worse amount of pixels per display inch, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a larger screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a little better hardware performance than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has 2 lesser cpu cores , and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
The Acer Iconia One 8 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a camera in the back with way more megapixels. Acer Iconia One 8 features a better storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have equal 16 GB internal memory, the Acer Iconia One 8 also has a SD extension slot that supports up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a lot more expensive than the Acer Iconia One 8, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
