Galaxy Tab A (2016) is much better than Acer Iconia One 8, having a 60.4 score against 53.7. Both of these devices include the same Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system, so they should count with very similar OS features. Galaxy Tab A (2016)'s body is a little thinner and somewhat lighter than the Acer Iconia One 8, even though they were only released with a couple months difference.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) counts with a bit better display than Acer Iconia One 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab A (2016) also counts with a little better quantity of pixels in each inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) takes better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia One 8. They have the same resolution back-facing camera. The Acer Iconia One 8 counts with more memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 16 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Tab A (2016) costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia One 8, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
