Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Active is a lot better than the Acer Iconia One 8, having a general score of 67 against 53.7. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab Active has older 4.4 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. Although it's the best in this comparison, it must be told that it is also older, just a little bit thicker and somewhat heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active counts with a bit faster processing unit than Acer Iconia One 8, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also has an additional graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a better display than Acer Iconia One 8. They have a screen of the same size, a greater number of pixels per inch in the display and the same resolution of 1280 x 800px.
The Galaxy Tab Active takes just a bit better videos and photos than Acer Iconia One 8, although it has a back camera with a much lower 3.1 MP resolution. The Acer Iconia One 8 counts with a little bit better memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab Active, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Acer Iconia One 8 also has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.
The Acer Iconia One 8 has a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active, because it has a 3 percent larger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia One 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Acer Iconia One 8, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
