Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy View 2 is way better than the Acer Iconia One 8, getting a global score of 65.3 against 53.7. Even though Samsung Galaxy View 2 is extremely newer than Acer Iconia One 8, it is way heavier and noticeably thicker. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy View 2 has 8.1 Oreo version while Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Acer Iconia One 8 has a little more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy View 2, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a lot worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a greater pixels density. The Galaxy View 2 features a much greater memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that allows up to 400 GB.
Galaxy View 2 has a little bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a higher number of cores (and also faster) and 2 GB more RAM memory. The Acer Iconia One 8 shoots much better videos and photos than Galaxy View 2. The Galaxy View 2 counts with a much better battery performance than Acer Iconia One 8, because it has a 161% larger battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy View 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia One 8. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Acer Iconia One 8, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your money.
