The Xperia Tablet Z has a global score of 68.5, which is much better than the Acer Iconia One 8's 53.7 overall score. Both of these tablets work with Android operating system, but the Xperia Tablet Z has the previous 4.4.4 version and Acer Iconia One 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Although Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia One 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia One 8. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Sony Xperia Tablet Z, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia One 8, resigning some specs and features.
