Comparison review
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, having a 62.5 score against 55.4. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 is a newer tablet device, and it's also much lighter and much thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (operating system), but the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has the newer 10 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a screen that is very similar to Acer Iconia Tab A510's display, because although the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has a much smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch of screen. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 256 GB.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 counts with a bit better processor than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a way better battery duration than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 shoots much better pictures and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 5 mega pixels, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a lot higher 1920x1080 video definition.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia Tab A510, but you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
