The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a general score of 59.7, which is slightly better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510's 55.4 general score. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) design is newer, somewhat thinner and way lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both devices in this comparison review use Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version, providing you a couple nice extra features and some performance improvements.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features just a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) and Acer Iconia Tab A510 have really similar screens, because although the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has a lot smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, it also counts with a higher pixels density.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a much longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Acer Iconia Tab A510 features a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has a lot better resolution back facing camera.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) is way more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A510, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
