Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, having a general score of 67.9 against 55.4. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's construction is a lot newer, much lighter and incredibly thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0, providing the user a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a quite better processing power than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features an incredibly better looking screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher pixel amount per display inch and a way better resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 shoots way better photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because it has a lot better 8 megapixels resolution camera and a much higher 1920x1080 video quality. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with slightly more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory capacity.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a much longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
Although Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, resigning a couple features and specifications.
