Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface RT is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, having a 58.4 score against 55.4. The Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS, while Acer Iconia Tab A510 comes with Android 4.0 OS. Microsoft Surface RT's design is thinner and a little bit lighter than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, although they were only released with a couple of months difference.

Microsoft Surface RT counts with a display that's very similar to the Acer Iconia Tab A510 one, because although the Microsoft Surface RT has a little bit worse screen density, it also counts with a slightly higher 768 x 1366 resolution and a quite larger display. The Microsoft Surface RT has a bit better CPU than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Microsoft Surface RT also has a larger amount of RAM and an extra graphics co-processor.

The Microsoft Surface RT counts with just a bit more memory to store more apps and games than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 32 GB more internal storage. Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a way better camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has a back-facing camera with lot more MP.

Acer Iconia Tab A510 features a much better battery duration than Microsoft Surface RT.

Although Microsoft Surface RT is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface RT, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia Tab A510, giving up a couple specs and features.
