Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 is slightly better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a 58.1 score against 55.4. Galaxy Tab 10.1's construction is lighter and noticeably thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A510, despite of the fact that it was released just 12 months before. These tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the newer 4.0.4 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0, giving you some additional features.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a little more vivid screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the same screen density and a same size display. Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of faster cores.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has a SD card slot that admits up to 32 GB. Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a very superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a 44 percent larger battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a much lower 3 mega pixels resolution camera, it also counts with a lot higher (Full HD) video definition.
Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, resigning some specs and features.
