The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, having a score of 65 against 55.4. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) and Acer Iconia Tab A510 were released with only a couple of months difference, Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has 4.1 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0, giving you some nice extra features.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a bit more vivid screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510. Both have the same 800 x 1280 resolution, a greater amount of pixels per screen inch and a same size screen. The Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have an external SD slot that admits up to 32 GB, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has more internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a bit better processing unit than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has lesser CPU cores (although they are faster), and they both have 1 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) also counts with a GPU. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a camera that's just as good as Acer Iconia Tab A510's camera, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a lot less megapixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a much higher (Full HD) video resolution.
Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a superior battery life than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 9800mAh of battery capacity instead of 7000mAh.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), else you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia Tab A510, resigning some specifications.
