Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a little bit better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a global score of 60.7 against 55.4. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has a more recent 4.1 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version, giving some additional features. The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) body is just a bit thinner and much lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A510, even though both of them were released with only 1 months difference.

Acer Iconia Tab A510 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has more processing cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with a little more vivid screen than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a really smaller screen and a way lower 600 x 1024 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen.

Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) captures much clearer videos and photos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, although it has a lot less MP resolution camera and a worse 1280x720 video quality. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) counts with as much storage capacity to store more apps and games as Acer Iconia Tab A510, both of them have a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 32 GB and equal internal storage.

The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), because it has a 145 percent larger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Acer Iconia Tab A510, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
