The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a general score of 57.5, which is slightly better than Acer Iconia Tab A510's overall score of 55.4. Both tablets we are comparing here work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a newer 4.1 version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version. Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is a newer tablet device, and it's also a little bit thinner and a lot lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A510.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 has a little better hardware performance than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount, the Acer Iconia Tab A510 also has 2 more processing cores. The Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids counts with a bit sharper display than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a way smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better display density.

Although Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Acer Iconia Tab A510, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
