Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) is much better than Acer Iconia Tab A510, with a score of 65.7 against 55.4. Both of these tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017)'s body is incredibly newer, somewhat thinner and extremely lighter than Acer Iconia Tab A510.
The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) counts with a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
