These tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0, so it provides the user a couple additional features and performance improvements. Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a newer tablet, and it is also a lot lighter and incredibly thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A510.
