Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the Acer Iconia Tab A510, getting a general score of 68.5 against 55.4. Both of these tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia Tablet Z has a newer 4.4.4 version while Acer Iconia Tab A510 has Android 4.0 version. The Xperia Tablet Z design is newer, incredibly lighter and way thinner than Acer Iconia Tab A510.
The Xperia Tablet Z features a sharper display than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a way better display pixels density. Xperia Tablet Z has just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 64 GB.
Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a bit better processing unit than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and although they both have 4 processing cores, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a higher amount of RAM and a graphics processing unit. The Xperia Tablet Z features a very superior camera than Acer Iconia Tab A510, because it has a way better 8.1 mega pixels resolution camera and a much better (Full HD) video quality.
The Acer Iconia Tab A510 counts with a much better battery life than Xperia Tablet Z, because it has a 9800mAh battery size.
Although Xperia Tablet Z is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Acer Iconia Tab A510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Iconia Tab A510. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia Tablet Z, else you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Iconia Tab A510, letting go some specs and features.
