Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than the Acer Iconia W3, with a 68.5 score against 57.3. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a much thinner and incredibly lighter tablet than Acer Iconia W3. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 counts with Android 4.2.2 operating system, while Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro operating system.
