Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Go is much better than Acer Iconia W3, having a 66.5 score against 57.3. Both tablets in this comparison review use Windows OS, but Microsoft Surface Go has the older 10 version while Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro. The Microsoft Surface Go construction is just a little bit heavier but thinner than Acer Iconia W3.
The Microsoft Surface Go has a bit better processing power than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface Go also has more RAM. The Acer Iconia W3 counts with a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a lot lower resolution of 800 x 1280px, a little bit smaller screen and a quite worse pixels density.
Microsoft Surface Go counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games than Acer Iconia W3, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Microsoft Surface Go takes greater photos and videos than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a much more mega pixels back facing camera.
Acer Iconia W3 counts with a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Go.
Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia W3. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Microsoft Surface Go, otherwise you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia W3, resigning a couple features and specs.
