Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot better than Acer Iconia W3, with an 82.4 score against 57.3. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) design is noticeably heavier but thinner than the Acer Iconia W3. These tablets come with Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an older 10 Pro version and Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro.
The Acer Iconia W3 has a little bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, a lot smaller display and a much worse number of pixels per inch in the screen. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a little faster processor than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have 2 cpu cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also has a greater amount of RAM.
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) shoots way better photographs and videos than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia W3, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 1000 GB internal storage.
Acer Iconia W3 counts with a very superior battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Acer Iconia W3. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Acer Iconia W3, giving up some specifications.
