Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is way better than Acer Iconia W3's global score of 57.3. Microsoft Surface Pro 3's construction is way heavier but just a little thinner than the Acer Iconia W3. Both of these tablets come with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has newer 8.1 Pro version while Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro version, giving you some additional features and performance enhancements.
The Acer Iconia W3 features a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although it has a much smaller screen, a way lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a quite worse display pixels density. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Acer Iconia W3, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit better hardware performance than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have 2 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a larger amount of RAM.
