Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface RT has a general score of 58.4, which is a bit better than the Acer Iconia W3's 57.3 overall score. Both of these tablets use Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface RT has the newer RT version while Acer Iconia W3 has Windows 8 Pro version. The Microsoft Surface RT construction is a little thinner but heavier than Acer Iconia W3.
The Acer Iconia W3 has a sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a really smaller display and a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a better screen pixel density. The Microsoft Surface RT features a bit superior CPU than Acer Iconia W3, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM memory, the Microsoft Surface RT also has 2 more cpu cores and an extra graphics co-processor.
The Acer Iconia W3 has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a camera in the back with a lot better 2 mega pixels resolution. The Microsoft Surface RT features as much storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as the Acer Iconia W3, and although the Microsoft Surface RT has no external SD slot, they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The Acer Iconia W3 features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface RT.
Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Microsoft Surface RT is also a bargain compared to the other ones.
