The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is much better than Acer Iconia W3, getting a score of 63.5 against 57.3. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE's construction is notably lighter and noticeably thinner than Acer Iconia W3. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has Android 4.0 OS, while Acer Iconia W3 counts with Windows 8 Pro OS. Acer Iconia W3 features a bit faster processor than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Acer Iconia W3 also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a screen that's very similar to the Acer Iconia W3 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution, it also counts with a quite better pixel density. Acer Iconia W3 has a much bigger memory for applications and games than Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE counts with a very superior battery life than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity. Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE has a slightly better camera than Acer Iconia W3, because it has a much more MP back-facing camera.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia W3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Iconia W3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, else you can save some money and get the Acer Iconia W3, letting go some specifications.
