Acer Iconia W4 has an overall score of 59.3, which is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s 58.6 overall score. The Acer Iconia W4 works with Windows 8.1 operating system, and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system. Despite being the best tablet in this review, Acer Iconia W4 is a somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker tablet than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a bit better CPU than Acer Iconia W4. Both have 4 processing cores and 2 GB of RAM. The Acer Iconia W4 features a much better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). They have the same number of pixels per inch in the display, a display of the same size and exactly the same 800 x 1280 pixels resolution.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia W4, although it has only 32 GB internal memory capacity. Acer Iconia W4 counts with a very superior camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution and a much higher 1920x1080 video quality.
The Acer Iconia W4 features a way better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Acer Iconia W4 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Acer Iconia W4, else you can save some money and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), giving up a couple specs and features.
