The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 construction is way thinner and lighter than the Acer Iconia W4. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2 OS, and Acer Iconia W4 counts with Windows 8.1 OS.
