Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is much better than the Acer Iconia W4, with a general score of 81.5 against 59.3. These tablets come with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a more recent 10 version and Acer Iconia W4 has Windows 8.1, providing some extra features. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 body is somewhat thinner but notably heavier than Acer Iconia W4.
Acer Iconia W4 has a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a much worse number of pixels per display inch, a much smaller screen and a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px. The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Iconia W4, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage.
Microsoft Surface Pro 6 has a little faster processing unit than Acer Iconia W4, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 also has a higher amount of RAM. The Acer Iconia W4 features a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 6. Acer Iconia W4 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 6, although it has a back-facing camera with a lot lower 5 megapixels resolution and a worse (Full HD) video definition.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is way more expensive than Acer Iconia W4, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
