Comparison review
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has a general score of 65, which is just a bit better than the Acer Iconia W4's 59.3 global score. Both tablets in this comparison work with Windows OS (operating system), but the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has the previous 8 version and Acer Iconia W4 has Windows 8.1 version. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is a thinner but noticeably heavier device than the Acer Iconia W4.
Acer Iconia W4 features a little bit better display than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 800 x 1280, it also counts with a little bit greater amount of pixels in each inch in the display. The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 features as much storage capacity for apps and games as the Acer Iconia W4, and although the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 has no slot for an external memory card, they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Acer Iconia W4, although it has less CPU cores (but faster), they both have the same RAM amount. The Acer Iconia W4 counts with a very superior battery performance than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. The Acer Iconia W4 features a much better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both of them have the same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video resolution.
Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 is also a bargain compared to others, which makes it very easy to pick between these tablets.
