Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is much better than the Acer Iconia W4, getting a score of 69.2 against 59.3. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is a a lot heavier device than Acer Iconia W4, but both are equally thin. Both of these devices use Windows OS (operating system), but Samsung ATIV Tab 5 has the older 8 version while Acer Iconia W4 has Windows 8.1.
The Acer Iconia W4 has a little sharper display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a way smaller display and a little worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a bit faster processing unit than Acer Iconia W4, although it has an inferior number of cores (although they are faster), they both have a 2 GB RAM memory.
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 counts with a very superior storage to install applications and games than Acer Iconia W4, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. Acer Iconia W4 counts with greater battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because it has 4960mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh.
Acer Iconia W4 shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, although it has a camera with a much lower 5 mega pixels resolution.
Even being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing, Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets, making it a no doubt choice.
