Comparison review
Acer Iconia W700 has a global score of 59.6, which is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface RT's 58.4 general score. Acer Iconia W700 is a noticeably heavier and extremely thicker tablet device than the Microsoft Surface RT. Both tablets in our current comparison work with Windows OS (operating system), but Acer Iconia W700 has older 8 Pro version and Microsoft Surface RT has Windows RT version.
The Acer Iconia W700 features a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface RT, because it has a greater screen pixels density, a higher 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little larger screen. The Acer Iconia W700 features just a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores , it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a much better 650 megahertz graphics co-processor.
Acer Iconia W700 has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Acer Iconia W700 also has a back camera with way more mega-pixels. Acer Iconia W700 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.
The Microsoft Surface RT and Acer Iconia W700 count with very similar battery durations.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Acer Iconia W700, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple features and specs.
