Comparison review
The Acer Iconia W700 has a general score of 59.6, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 global score. Although Acer Iconia W700 is newer than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it is extremely thicker and much heavier. Acer Iconia W700 works with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Galaxy Tab 10.1 works with Android 4.0.4 operating system.
The Acer Iconia W700 counts with a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core CPU, the Acer Iconia W700 also has an additional graphics processing unit. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a screen that's very similar to the display in Acer Iconia W700, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a just a little inferior number of pixels per inch of screen, a little bit smaller display and a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a better camera than Acer Iconia W700, although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a back-facing camera with a lot worse 3 MP resolution. The Acer Iconia W700 features a superior memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 128 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much longer battery performance than Acer Iconia W700.
Although Acer Iconia W700 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 10.1. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Acer Iconia W700, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 10.1, resigning some features and specs.
