Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is a bit better than Acer Predator 8, having a 58.6 score against 57.7. Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020)'s design is newer, but a bit heavier and somewhat thicker than Acer Predator 8. Both tablets in our current comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has newer 9.0 Pie version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop, so it provides you some nice extra features.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a bit better CPU than Acer Predator 8. Both have a 2 GB RAM and the same number of cores. The Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and although they both have a display with the same size, the Acer Predator 8 also has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a better pixels density.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a lot bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. Acer Predator 8 counts with a much better battery life than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
The Acer Predator 8 captures much better videos and photos than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
In addition to being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is also by far the cheapest one, making this tablet a great choice.
