Comparison review
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than Acer Predator 8, having a 67.9 score against 57.7. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is an older and just a little heavier device than Acer Predator 8, but Amazon was able to build it thinner anyway. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has the previous 4.4 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better screen than Acer Predator 8, because it has a higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels, a quite larger display and a quite higher pixel number per inch in the screen. The Acer Predator 8 features just a bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a bit superior processing unit than Acer Predator 8. Both of them have the same RAM amount and a Quad-Core processor. Acer Predator 8 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 captures much clearer photographs and videos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a lot more mega-pixels back facing camera.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a lot more expensive than Acer Predator 8, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
