Comparison review
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is much better than Acer Predator 8, having a general score of 68.5 against 57.7. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is a noticeably older and a little heavier device than the Acer Predator 8, but Amazon made it a little bit thinner anyway. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has an older 4.2.2 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has just a little better processing power than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 also has a graphics processing unit. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much better looking display than Acer Predator 8, because it has a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, a little larger screen and a little higher screen density.
The Acer Predator 8 has a little bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 128 GB. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 captures much better photographs and videos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
Acer Predator 8 has a superior battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
