Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 overall score. Microsoft Surface 3's construction has the same thickness than the Acer Predator 8, but it's heavier. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit superior processor than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a greater amount of RAM memory.
The Acer Predator 8 features a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a really smaller display and a bit lower 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density. Microsoft Surface 3 has a much greater memory for games and applications than Acer Predator 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory.
The Acer Predator 8 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3. Microsoft Surface 3 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a camera with way more mega pixels.
The Microsoft Surface 3 is more expensive than the Acer Predator 8, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a better tablet for that extra money.
