Comparison review
Samsung ATIV Tab 5 is better than Acer Predator 8, getting a 69.2 score against 57.7. Although it's the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung ATIV Tab 5 design is noticeably older, thicker and notably heavier than Acer Predator 8. Samsung ATIV Tab 5 works with Windows 8 operating system, while Acer Predator 8 works with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.
Acer Predator 8 features a bit superior CPU than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory, the Acer Predator 8 also has 2 more CPU cores. Acer Predator 8 has a bit better display than Samsung ATIV Tab 5, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a way better pixel density and a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920.
The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Acer Predator 8, because it has a much more mega pixels camera. The Samsung ATIV Tab 5 features a much bigger memory to install games and applications than Acer Predator 8, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage.
