The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is much better than the Acer Predator 8, with a score of 66.3 against 57.7. Even being the best device in this review, it must be told that it's also older, incredibly heavier and a little bit thicker. Both tablets we are comparing include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has older 4.4 version and Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Acer Predator 8 counts with just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of them have 4 cores and a 2 GB RAM. Acer Predator 8 features a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a lot higher display pixels density.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a quite bigger memory to install applications and games than Acer Predator 8, because although it has a SD extension slot that supports 96 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Acer Predator 8 captures much better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1. Both of them have the same resolution camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 counts with a much better battery life than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 costs a lot more than Acer Predator 8, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
