The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has an overall score of 68.7, which is much better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 global score. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch is an notably older portable tablet than the Acer Predator 8, but Samsung managed to build it just a little lighter and thinner anyway. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch has 4.2.2 version and Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
The Acer Predator 8 features a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 3 8-inch, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Acer Predator 8 also has a much better resolution of 1200 x 1920px and more pixels per screen inch.
