Comparison review
Acer Predator 8 is slightly better than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, having a global score of 57.7 against 57.5. Both devices we are comparing come with Android operating system, but Acer Predator 8 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1, so it gives lots of additional features and performance optimizations. Acer Predator 8's design is much newer and thinner than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids's, although it is somewhat heavier.
The Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit better processing unit than Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has more RAM memory and a higher number of cores (and they are faster). Acer Predator 8 and GALAXY Tab 3 Kids both have very similar displays, although the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a quite smaller display, a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a lot lower screen pixel density.
The Acer Predator 8 counts with a little bit better camera than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has a back facing camera with a lot higher 5 MP resolution. Acer Predator 8 has a lot bigger storage capacity for apps and games than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that supports up to 128 GB.
Acer Predator 8 features just a little better battery lifetime than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, because it has 4420mAh of battery capacity.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Acer Predator 8, else you can save a couple dollars and get the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up some specs and features.
