Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 is a bit better than the Acer Predator 8, with a 60.5 score against 57.7. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has newer 7.1 Nougat version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 construction is a lot heavier but thinner than the Acer Predator 8, and both were released only 6 months apart.
