Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is much better than the Acer Predator 8, with a 70 score against 57.7. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 is newer than the Acer Predator 8, it's thicker and heavier. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version, so it provides some extra features.
Acer Predator 8 counts with a bit better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Acer Predator 8 also has a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher resolution of 1200 x 1920px. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a bit faster processor than Acer Predator 8, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 features a greater camera than Acer Predator 8, because it has a way more mega pixels camera in the back. The Acer Predator 8 features a slightly bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a SD memory slot that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
The Acer Predator 8 and the Galaxy Tab Active 2 have incredibly similar batteries performance, although the Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has 4450mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 costs a lot more money than the Acer Predator 8, but you can get a much better tablet for that few extra dollars.
