Comparison review
The Galaxy View has a score of 61.5, which is slightly better than Acer Predator 8's general score of 57.7. Although it's the best in this review, Galaxy View's design is a lot thicker and noticeably heavier than the Acer Predator 8. The Samsung Galaxy View has a bit superior CPU than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy View also has a higher number of cores.
Acer Predator 8 counts with a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy View, because although it has a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a way higher screen pixel density. Acer Predator 8 takes a lot better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy View.
The Galaxy View features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Acer Predator 8, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB, the Galaxy View also has 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy View counts with longer battery duration than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 5700mAh battery size against 4420mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy View is a better device, it is way more expensive than Acer Predator 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Acer Predator 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy View, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Acer Predator 8, letting go some features and specifications.
