Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than the Alcatel A30 Tablet, with a score of 65.1 against 57. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better tablet device than the Alcatel A30 Tablet, it must be told that it is also extremely older, notably thicker and a lot heavier. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Alcatel A30 Tablet counts with Android 7.1 Nougat OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has just a little better performance than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has lesser cpu cores , it also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much better display than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a quite greater screen pixel density and a much bigger screen.
Alcatel A30 Tablet has a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both of them have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a much better storage to store more apps and games than Alcatel A30 Tablet, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Alcatel A30 Tablet counts with a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Alcatel A30 Tablet, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Alcatel A30 Tablet. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Alcatel A30 Tablet, giving up a couple specifications.
